hey everyone wanted to let you know that AO is having an event Sunday at BF Paintball. I'm gonna ask to go but i wont if nobody else is... so PLEASE COME!!! ;D
Event Location: 5600 W Liberty St, Hubbard, OH, 44425
Entry Fee: $10.00
Minimum Age: 13
Maximum FPS (Indoor): 400 semi-auto only
Maximum FPS (Outdoor): 500
Minimum required safety equipment: Full Seal ANSI z87.1 Goggles
Magazine restrictions: None
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Waivers are required, if you do not have a 2009 waiver on file at Battlefront, you will have to fill one out before playing. Minors are required to have a parents signature.
We'll chrono, explain safety and hit rules and organize teams starting at 3:00PM, begin play at 4:00PM. We will most likely have to start in the back playing area until the paintballers are done (around 5:00PM). Then we can move to the city.
Open event, but I encourage MILSIM attire and radios. If you do not have military clothing, try to go with military colors. (Black will be considered OD based, brown - Tan based, so try to match to avoid confusion.) Hunting camo will be classified by it's dominant color. If you want to play with your friends, dress alike. Mixed base (Tan and OD in combination) is strongly discouraged (and subject to possible ridicule). If this doesn't work out, we'll go with arm bands........ but at least try please. BRING A DEAD RAG!
Bring a lot of water, it is more than likely to be 80+
Games will be the usual farein no particular order) Deathmatch, Downed pilot, CTF, Clock Game once we get in the city, and any other ideas are welcome.
There has been complaints of "Backyard airsoft" at the last few opens at Battlefront. Call your hits and follow safety rules. Blatant disregard for safety will result in you being asked to leave. Continued cheating (not calling hits) will result in you being asked to leave. Not trying to be a jerk, wet blanket or The Supreme Commander here but people have been sliding on the rules and it has to stop. The game's a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about safety and cheating.
